Book Art Illustration

Taylor Devine has had a long love affair with art of any form. Growing up, she was the kid covering her arms in ball point pen drawings in class. 

After getting a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Studio Art from Florida State University, she explored a variety of jobs within the art world. 

She worked in an art gallery and as a graphic designer for pet supply companies, game developers and medical facilities. In her free time, she has painted original art, as well as pet portraits, murals, and wedding portraits for people's homes. Most recently, she has been bringing joy to children with face painting while working on her own children's books. Her favorite ways to create are painting in watercolor/gouache, oil paint, and digital mediums. 

Taylor is a parent and has a small menagerie of animals at home who often help inspire her stories. She has two dogs, two cats, a fish tank and a wild, overgrown garden. She's known to enjoy crochet, tabletop games and cooking.
